Missouri S&T WRITING ACROSS THE CURRICULUM

FACULTY SERVICES

Course Support

A major purpose of the Writing Across the Curriculum Program is to help support Writing Emphasized courses.  Here are some of the possibilities:

  • We can send a writing tutor to your class to give a 10-minute presentation on the equipment and services available in the Center for Writing Technologies and the Moeller Writing Studio.
  • We can arrange extra hours of tutoring to fit the needs of your class and give the tutors special training regarding your assignments.
  • We can add links appropriate to your discipline or to your assignments to our web page.
  • Dr. Kate Drowne can give a customized presentation to your class on a topic relevant to the writing you are assigning; these presentations can take place either in your classroom or in the Center (CSF 114).
  • Dr. Drowne can consult with you individually about designing assignments, grading templates, or other matters relevant to the writing assignments.
