Publishing & Public Speaking for Graduate Students

Each Spring, the WCC offers focused academies to help graduate students build professional communication skills. We partner with the Library to present S&T's Publishing Academy, which provides actionable instruction in preparing scholarly work for publication. We also partner with faculty from Speech & Media Studies, as well as local and national journalists, to present Public Speaking Academy, which develops confidence and effectiveness in research presentations, teaching, and other professional speaking contexts.
